Hello there! My name is Nonee and I am a Connecticut life and style blogger, Neuro ICU nurse practitioner, doctoral student, and founder of Connecticut Bloggers Collective and Of Love and Social. Nonee’s World, the blog, opened in March 2017 and has since grown far beyond sharing snippets about my personal life. Today, I have been granted the opportunity to collaborate with brands that I adore, attend blogger conferences and events, curate events for other bloggers, and connect with other creative entrepreneurs. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner in 2018, I spent 5 years working as an ICU nurse. Today, I spend heaps of my life treating critically ill brain and spinal cord patients and also learning how to conduct research as a Doctor Of Nursing Practice Student.
I began blogging January 1st, 2012 as a creative outlet from the sciences while in nursing school. Before college, I heavily considered going to fashion school because I absolutely adored everything about designing fashion. This blog is part two for me; as in a blog named The Pinnest’s Journal still is out there as a remnant of my past. In my spare time, one of my favorite things to partake in is traveling. I love experiencing new cultures and learning about this vast world we call home. 3 things about me you must know: 1) I am passionate about kindness, 2) my husband Taj holds my whole heart, and 3) I am currently obsessed with Biltong Snapsticks!
