About Masshole Mommy

First and foremost, I am the mom of three boys.

Being a mom is absolutely the best thing that’s ever happened to me and I am incredibly lucky to have my children in my life.  I have a 17-year-old and 14-year old of my own and when I got re-married in October of 2010, I gained a bonus son, who is 23.  My oldest graduated with a Bachelor of Science from UMass Amherst (major in Biology) a few years back and also serves in the National Guard one weekend a month. My oldest son is 17 years old & is a senior in high school (yikes) while my little guy is 14 and in the 8th grade.

I am divorced from my kid’s father, but he is still a very big part of their lives, which I am very thankful for.  I know that situation could have gone in a completely different direction and I feel so fortunate that it didn’t   I  married my second husband, Chris, who is a tax accountant and a retired Air Force Master Sargent, in Las Vegas on 10/10/10….and with a date like that,  he’d better never forget our anniversary!  Before you ask, yes, we did get married by Elvis. He’s an amazing husband and step-father to my children.

In addition to working my part time job, I can be found out and about around my local community all the time. I love where I live. I also love, love,  love introducing my children to as many new experiences as I possibly can.   Part of those new experiences come with traveling and my family travels several times a year (as much as we can in the middle of a global pandemic).

As for personal interests, I am an amateur photographer, a MAJOR Disney fanatic and I love all things paranormal. Truth be told, I actually have some paranormal investigation experience under my belt.  I watch way too much tv with some of my favorite shows being The Office, American Horror Story, How I Met Your Mother, Parks & Rec and The X-Files.  I truly enjoy traveling and my long-term goal in life is to become a Disney AP holder.
