DigInVT is a project of the Vermont Agriculture and Culinary Tourism Council. The Council consists of representatives from agriculture, culinary, and tourism organizations from the state of Vermont who are committed to promoting and preserving Vermont’s working landscape. The purpose of the Council is to strengthen and support Vermont’s food and farm communities. They have chosen DigInVT as their first collaborative project because they believe that in order to support and strengthen Vermont’s food and farm communities both visitors and Vermonters alike must be aware of the agriculture and food experiences available to them.
Vermont is an exciting place to be for many reasons. Local food is one of those reasons. . . some might say the best reason. There’s a lot happening, and DigInVT began in 2011 to help visitors, travelers, our neighbors, and even ourselves, sort through it all to find great food and farm experiences.
